Announcements:
- This is the new author website I have just begun at https://gopimenonwriter.com
- I have almost finished my next book in the Joycentrix Series entitled "Why MOST Prayers are NOT Answered!" It should be published in about two months.
To whet your appetite, here are some snippets from the book to ponder about:
Some Questions that we have all failed to ask:
- Does God really answer our individual prayers?
- Is it even proper for God to accede to any one individual’s prayer, perhaps at the expense of another’s?
- Being the Divine Parent of us all, how can, and why should God answer one person’s prayer? Isn’t that being biased and partisan?
About Goodness, Benevolence, Justice, and Neutrality:
People seem to feel that a benevolent God should answer their individual prayers and their pleas. They think that a good God should take the side of the one praying.
But I think not. That would be unfair, like saying that a judge can be ‘bought’ to rule in favor of a defendant. Wouldn't we consider that judge to be corrupt? Similarly, I believe that attempting to bribe God (with offerings and praises as in ritual prayers) would be in vain!
When it comes to the Supreme Power, I believe that the highest form of benevolence is being neutral, not partisan. Also, just because GOD does not intercede on your behalf, it does not mean GOD is against you.
Both the Universe and GOD are always for you!
The Unforeseen Drawbacks of Ritual Prayer:
1. Having a Victim Mentality: This is the number one problem for those who are addicted to ritualized prayers. Their thinking goes like this:
“If God is the sole authority on what happens, then I am helpless. There is no use fighting against God and Fate. All I can do is pray to God and hope he or she will be moved by my pleas, my propitiation, and my tears, to grant me an easier life.”
The above is only one of several unforeseen drawbacks mentioned in the book. There are at least seven more .
However, some prayers (in all religions) are truly answered! How and why is also explored fully in the book.

Well that is all I want to share for now in this post. Be sure to check back for new posts.
